Harry Potter is one of the best series in the world. You gave 14 answers away in the instructions and title. I was about to click "give up", but then I realized that "give" and "up" were probably both answers. I got Nowadays, you know what should have made this list? Maybe they do, but they refer to him as You-Know-Who Cheating in this quiz just means scrolling down to the comments and typing the shortest words you see. It says that 'no' has a much broader grammatical function than 'yes': There is 'no' milk in the fridge 'No' dogs allowed I am 'no' fool etc.
Love this quiz. I love that want appears and need doesn't. It's funny how 'no' is on there but 'yes' isn't. Amazing quiz and a challenging time amount. Yea it is used nearly as often as the smurfs use the smurf word. I had a go, it doesn't make much sense. This whst it feels like hearing some people talk sometimes.
Got Happy I got the whole first column. Mad about the obvious ones I missed. I went through pronouns and forgot we and you! But I will admit that it tried "why" multiple time before I gave up.
If have no clue if the people who enjoyed this quiz would also enjoy Clueless Try it! Well, I got 37 when the average is 40, but I got some of the least guessed ones they had. This was fun. At first I felt bad about getting only 50, but felt relieved when I saw the average score. Tough quiz, but interesting! I thought getting about half was not that good, bbut apparently it is not bad at all. You can say his house, but not hers house.
You say it is his and it is hers though, so his has got a double function. A great strategy is to look around the page for any words that seem probable if you can't think of any lol. The comments really helped. I looked for pronouns and possessive pronouns like I, me, my and she, her and you, your. That is what brought me here aswell. And also need to get 10 more. But dont like to take it two times in a row.
I would make it if I do it again right now. But for me personally that feels like cheating not saying it is when others do it I rather wait a couple of weeks before trying again. Though this is one of those quizzes where each time, you might miss a different 5 answers, so getting them all but never at the same time to get a perfect.
As soon as the timer runs out, we all smack our heads saying, "How did I not think of that? Just a remark, I don't know if it's meant to work like that, but I just earned the words badge by taking the quiz untimed Personally I don't think untimed should earn badges, sort of takes away the purpose of badges.
Because people I try this quiz every few months in an attempt to get the word badge, but I can never get past the 60s.
Fun fact! The second most used word is used half as much as the first, the third one third as much, etc. The description says that conjugations count as one word, and in practice suppletive conjugations like "am" and "is" are counted as just "be".
It took me 16 attempts over three years to finally get above 75 and earn the words badge, but today I've finally done it with 77 answers correct! I feel kinda proud to get 76 of them even though english is not my first language I'm polish and I'm only Wow, I never noticed that there were than many common words in English, I was exactly average, beating Why is this so much harder than it seems??
